Amplitude Turns to AI and HUb for Their Latest Ad Campaign

Amplitude, an AI-powered product analytics platform, helps businesses understand how customers use their products and build better ones. Amplitude’s in-house brand team partnered with HUb, a Bay Area–based advertising and design firm, to launch a new creative campaign showcasing the “unfair advantage” Amplitude gives its users.

The Amplitude team had developed the concept for the campaign, but they needed an approach to get the campaign into market quickly and take the creative to the next level. Tight timelines and budget limitations made traditional production methods unrealistic, prompting the collaboration with HUb.

“AI is unlocking a new era of speed, efficiency, and insight for our customers,” said Brynn Haynam, Sr. Director of Brand & Creative at Amplitude. “We wanted a campaign that reflected that acceleration—something bold, memorable, and provocative. Partnering with HUb allowed us to bring that story to life.”

Working closely with Amplitude, HUb refined the concept and leveraged its team of AI artists to produce the campaign at unprecedented speed. “We took their concepts, refined them together with their team, and then pulled in some of our AI artists to bring the visuals to life. The result is a campaign that was produced ten times faster and probably ten times cheaper than if we didn’t use AI,” said DJ O’Neil, CEO of HUb.

The campaign will debut in San Francisco and New York with a series of over-the-top visual metaphors illustrating unfair advantage: a golfer sinking a putt into a four-foot-wide hole, a poker player holding all aces, and an Olympic runner outfitted with rollerblades and a jetpack. These scenes deliver on the clarity, speed, and confidence that Amplitude’s AI-driven analytics give companies as they uncover what users truly need.
